Chitral is a scenic district in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, nestled in the Hindu Kush mountain range. Known for its natural beauty, Chitral features rugged peaks, lush valleys, and the serene Chitral River that flows through the region. Lahore is known for the Grandeur of its Mughal Architecture and is unique in Ancient Wooden Balconies, Temples, Gurdwaras, Havelis, Narrow Winding Streets and busy Bazaars.
In the morning, we will start exploring Lahore.
Places to explore in Lahore;
Shahi Fort is a Citadel. Shahi Fort is the only place in Pakistan which represents the development of Mughal Architecture.
Badshahi Mosque is simply known for its exceptional and extraordinary size which is visible from almost ten miles away!
Minar E Pakistan is a National Monument located in Iqbal Park, Lahore, Pakistan. The Tower was built in the 1960s to commemorate the Lahore Resolution of 1940, which led to the creation of Pakistan.
Walled City of Lahore, also known as Androon Shehr (Inner City), is the oldest and most historic part of Lahore, Pakistan. Enclosed by 13 gates (originally there were 13, but only a few remain today), this area is filled with centuries-old monuments, vibrant bazaars, narrow alleyways, and a deep cultural and architectural heritage that reflects Lahore's rich history.
After exploring these places, we will head back to our hotel for a night stay.
In the morning, we will start our journey to Islamabad. After travelling 4-5 hours, we will check in to your hotel and start exploring Islamabad.

City Exploration
Faisal Mosque is one of Islamabad's most iconic landmarks and a symbol of Pakistan's architectural and religious heritage.
Pakistan Monument serves as a symbol of national solidarity and pride, and it is a popular spot for tourists and locals alike. The complex also features lush gardens, fountains, and walkways, offering a serene environment for visitors.
Lok Virsa is a prominent cultural and heritage institution in Pakistan, officially known as the National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage. It is located in Islamabad and plays a vital role in preserving, documenting, and promoting the diverse cultural traditions, folklore, and arts of Pakistan.
Saidpur Village has a rich history that dates back to the Mughal era. The village was once a Hindu settlement, and remnants of its past, such as old Hindu temples and a Sikh temple, still exist, giving visitors a glimpse into its multicultural heritage.
Daman E Koh is a popular viewpoint and tourist destination offers a stunning panoramic view of Islamabad, including the Faisal Mosque, Rawal Lake, and other landmarks of the city.
After exploring Islamabad’s points, we will get back to our hotel for a night stay.
Early in the morning, we will start our journey. After a smooth drive of 3 hours, we will reach Swat Valley.
Nestled in the foothills of the Hindu Kush mountains, Swat valley a breathtaking region in KPK, known for its stunning landscapes, lush green valleys, crystal-clear rivers, and snow-capped peaks, Swat has earned the nickname "Switzerland of the East."
After check-in to our hotel in Swat Valley, we will start exploring the main spots of Swat Valley. Places to Explore;
Malam Jabba:
Malam Jabba is known for its stunning natural beauty, lush green landscapes, and snow-capped mountains, making it a popular destination for both local and international tourists.
Malam Jabba features one of the few ski resorts in Pakistan, offering skiing and snowboarding opportunities during the winter months.
White Palace Swat:
White Palace Swat is a picturesque Palace of Swat Valley. Nestled amidst stunning natural scenery, it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and lush landscapes. The palace is known for its modern amenities, local culture and traditional architecture making it a popular choice for tourists looking to explore the beauty of Swat.
Swat River:
The river is known for its stunning turquoise waters, which attract visitors for activities like fishing and rafting. It also has historical significance, with many ancient archaeological sites located along its banks. The Swat River is not only a vital resource for the local communities but also a symbol of the valley's natural beauty.
After visiting the main spots, we will get back to our hotel for night stay.
After breakfast, we will start our journey to Kalam Valley. In this journey, we will have a sightseeing point of Bahrain Swat.
Bahrain Swat:
Bahrain is a charming town at the confluence of the Swat and Bahrain rivers. It serves as a gateway for tourists exploring the valley and is known for its stunning natural beauty, lush greenery, and pleasant climate.
The town is famous for its traditional wooden houses and vibrant local markets, where visitors can find handicrafts and local products. Nearby attractions include the picturesque valley views, waterfalls, and the lush forests that characterize the region.
After 3 hours drive, we will reach at Kalam Valley and check in to our hotel for night stay.
Kalam Valley:
Kalam Valley is a picturesque valley, renowned for its stunning natural beauty, featuring lush green landscapes, majestic mountains, and crystal-clear rivers. It is often referred to as a paradise for nature lovers.
After breakfast, we will start exploring Kalam Valley. We will start our journey by visiting Ushu Forest.
Ushu Forest:
The Ushu forest is rich in biodiversity, featuring a variety of flora and fauna, including pine and deodar trees. The landscape is characterized by rolling hills, streams, and rivers.
Ushu Forest is a popular destination for trekking, hiking, and camping.
Mahodand Lake:
Mahodand Lake is a stunning alpine lake. Nestled at an elevation of approximately 9,400 feet (2,850 meters), it is surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Hindu Kush mountain range and lush green meadows. The name "Mahodand" translates to "Lake of Fishes," highlighting its rich population of trout and other fish species, making it a popular spot for fishing.
The lake is fed by the melting glaciers of the surrounding mountains and offers breathtaking views, with crystal-clear water that reflects the snow-capped peaks and dense forests around it. After exploring Kalam Valley, we will start our journey to Kumrat Valley on 4x4 jeep. After 4 to 5 hours of drive, we will reach at Kumrat Valley in evening and check in to our hotel for night stay.
Kumrat Valley is a picturesque valley, known for its stunning natural beauty, lush green meadows, dense forests, snow-capped mountains, and crystal-clear rivers. Often referred to as a hidden gem, Kumrat has gained popularity in recent years due to its unspoiled landscapes and tranquil environment, attracting nature lovers, campers, and adventure seekers.
The valley is covered with lush forests of deodar (cedar) and pine trees. These forests provide a habitat for various species of wildlife and are ideal for nature walks and hikes.
Whole day will be spent at exploring Kumrat main spots like; Waterfall point, Kala Chashma and Do Janga.
In evening, we will get back to our hotel for night stay.
After breakfast, we will start our journey to Jahaz Banda. After 2 hours jeep track, there will be a 2.5 hours trekking distance to Jahaz Banda.
Jahaz Banda is a beautiful alpine meadow, lies at an elevation of about 3,100 meters (10,170 feet) above sea level in the Kumrat Valley region. Jahaz Banda is renowned for its lush green pastures, dense forests, towering peaks and stunning views of snow-capped mountains. It is a popular destination for trekkers, nature lovers, and adventure enthusiasts due to its scenic beauty and relatively untouched environment.
After visiting Jahaz Banda Top, we will start trekking to Katora Lake which is a short trek of 1.5 hours.
Katora Lake is a stunning alpine glacial lake. It lies at an altitude of about 11,500 feet (3,505 meters) above sea level, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and lush greenery. Katora Lake is named after the word "Katora," which means bowl in Urdu, due to its round, bowl-like shape. The lake’s serene and untouched beauty, combined with its remote location, makes it a magical spot for adventurers looking for off-the-beaten-path destinations.
After exploring Katora Lake, we will trek back to Kumrat Valley.
In the evening, we will start our journey to Chitral. After a long journey of 5 hours, we will reach our hotel in Chitral.
Nestled in the Hindu Kush mountain range, Chitral is a stunning region of KPK, known for its breathtaking landscapes, high peaks and rich cultural heritage.
Note : There are some stunning places in Chitral like; Karamber Lake, Broghil Valley and Tirich Mir Mountain that requires extra days and can be customized according to your plan if you wish to explore
After breakfast, we will start exploring Chitral with its famous Chitral Fort.
Chitral Fort architecture reflects a blend of local, Central Asian, and Islamic influences. It is built primarily of stone and wood, with thick walls designed for defense. The structure features several towers and battlements, offering strategic views of the surrounding area. The inner courtyard, once a hub of political and military activity, now stands as a quiet reminder of the fort’s past.
After exploring Chitral Fort, we will start our journey to Kalash Valley. There are multiple spots on the way like; Ayun Valley, Bamburet Valley.
Ayun Valley is a picturesque region, known for its breathtaking natural beauty, towering peaks, lush green meadows, snow-capped mountains, clear rivers, and dense forests. The valley is named after the Ayun village, which serves as a gateway to the valley and is situated along the banks of the Chitral River.
Bamburet Valley is one of the three main valleys in the Kalasha region. It is part of the larger Kalash Valleys, which also include the Rumbur and Bumburet valleys. Bamburet is known for its scenic beauty, surrounded by lush green hills, alpine forests, and clear streams, making it a popular tourist destination for nature lovers and adventure travelers. After exploring these places on the way, we will reach our hotel in Kalash Valley for a night stay.
Kalash Valley is a stunning region home to the Kalash people, one of the smallest ethnic and religious minority groups in the country, known for their unique culture, ancient traditions, and vibrant festivals.
The Kalash people are known for their distinctive culture, which is very different from the rest of Pakistan. They follow a polytheistic religion, worshipping nature and their ancestors, and their festivals revolve around the changing seasons, such as Joshi (spring), Uchal (harvest), and Chomos (winter solstice).
Kalash culture is rich in folklore, music, dance, and celebrations. Their festivals are vibrant, involving dancing, singing, and feasting. These festivals are also deeply connected to their agricultural and pastoral way of life. Joshi is celebrated to welcome spring and is marked by colorful celebrations.
We will spend the whole day in Kalash Valley exploring the beauty and culture of this valley. In the evening, we will head towards Chitral City and check in to our hotel for night stay.
After breakfast, we will head to Chitral Gol National Park.
Chitral Gol National Park is a well-known wildlife reserve. The park is renowned for its rich biodiversity and stunning mountainous landscapes, which are part of the larger Hindu Kush mountain range.
The park is home to a variety of wildlife species, including the famous markhor (Capra falconeri), which is Pakistan's national animal and a key attraction of the park. Other mammals in the park include: Himalayan ibex, Snow leopard, Black bear, Red fox and Lynx.
After exploring Gol National Park, we will drive for 2 hours to Ǫalqasht Meadows.
Ǫalqasht Meadows is a scenic area known for its natural beauty, located in the region of the Altai Mountains in Kazakhstan. This area is characterized by its lush meadows, diverse flora and fauna, and stunning mountainous landscapes. Qalqash Meadows is often a destination for outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and wildlife observation, attracting nature lovers and adventure seekers.
The Qalqasht Festival, also known as the Qalqash Festival, is an annual cultural event held in Kazakhstan, typically in the region of Almaty. The festival celebrates the rich traditions, music, and arts of the Kazakh people, often featuring traditional performances, folk music, dance, and various cultural exhibitions.
After exploring Ǫalqasht Meadows, we will head towards Mastuj. After 2 hours of drive, we will reach our hotel in Mastuj for a night stay.
After breakfast, we will start our journey to Shandur Pass.
Shandur Pass is a high mountain pass situated at an elevation of about 3,700 meters (12,139 feet) above sea level. It is known for its breathtaking natural beauty, stunning landscapes, including lush green meadows, snow-capped peaks and is often referred to as the "Roof of the World."
Shandur Pass is famous for hosting the annual Shandur Polo Festival, usually held in July. The festival features traditional polo matches between teams from Chitral and Gilgit, attracting tourists and locals alike.
Shandur Lake is located at an altitude of approximately 3,700 meters (12,139 feet), surrounded by mountains and lush meadows, Shandur Lake is famous for its crystal-clear waters that change color throughout the day, offering breathtaking views.
In the afternoon after exploring Shandur, we will travel back to Chitral City. After 5 hours of drive, we will check in to our hotel for Night Stay.
After breakfast, we will visit Chitral City Markets and head to Chitral Airport for our flight to Islamabad. This will be a 50-minute flight with stunning views of KPK Mountains.
